2014
Born At Fuckparade Berlin
Hashtek23 traces its roots back to the Fuckparade 2014 in Berlin, where a group of friends came together around a shared passion for underground music, soundsystem culture and free expression. What started as a one-off project quickly evolved into a dedicated soundsystem operating primarily within the Breda, Rotterdam and The Hague region.
The soundsystem was founded by Owen, Freek, Robert, Olav and Geert, and was soon joined by friends and crew members from Oercircus, Kierewiet and PDK Soundsystem. As the project continued to grow and develop its own identity, the name Hashtek23 was officially adopted in March 2015 — marking the beginning of what would become a long-running community built around music, events, releases and collaboration.

Hashtek23 is powered by more than just the DJs and artists you see behind the decks. Behind every release, event and project is a dedicated group of crew members who help keep everything running. From sound engineering and technical support to logistics, organisation and countless behind-the-scenes tasks, their contribution is an essential part of what makes Hashtek23 possible.
Over the years, many people have played a role in shaping the community. Alongside founders and deejays, crew members such as Richard, Rick, Robert, Sander, Caroline, Daan, Freek, Geert, Iris, Jasper, Melanie, Niek, Olav, and Timon have all contributed their time, skills and energy. Whether working on the sound system, helping at events, supporting productions or simply being there when needed, they are an important part of the Hashtek23 story.
From Soundsystem To Record Label
In 2019, OdS founded Hashtek23 Records as a natural extension of the soundsystem and the community that had formed around it. What started as a small passion project with the idea of releasing one or two records quickly evolved into something much bigger.
Over the years, Hashtek23 Records has grown into an independent underground label with a catalogue spanning vinyl and digital releases from both established and emerging artists. The label brings together a wide range of sounds from across the underground spectrum, including acid, mental, tekno, tribe, hardcore and experimental electronic music.
Today, Hashtek23 Records has released more than twenty projects and continues to provide a platform for artists who share the same passion for creativity, independence and soundsystem culture. With releases played, shared and supported throughout Europe, the label has become an important part of the wider Hashtek23 community and its ongoing mission to support underground music.
